Alpha
and Omega Driving School
These acronyms represent who we are, what we stand
for, our beliefs and our values.
Parking
To bring (a vehicle
that one is driving) to a halt and leave it temporarily, typically in a parking
lot or by the side of the road.
One
of the lessons taught when driving.
Radiance
A
quality of brightness and happiness that can be seen on a person's face. We
want our students to shine and to be recognized as an Alpha and Omega student
by everyone.
Anointing
We
believe in God and we believe that whatever we put our minds to we can succeed
because we are anointed by Him. And because we are so
blessed, our students are blessed also, which means as long as they are focused
they will get what they came to us for.
Yearn
Have an intense feeling of longing for something, typically
something that one has lost or been separated from.
We can only get something or achieve our goals if we want it bad
enough and that’s the attitude we want our students to have. The instructor can
only do so much and carry them so far but in the end, when it comes to the road
test, it’s all on them to remember and execute what was taught.
Elevation
We want our students to excel. Every lesson they take they
should be moving up. A student cannot come to us and after 5 lessons has been
taught nothing. They should not be leaving our driving school the same way they
came.
Restoration
The action of returning something to a former owner, place, or
condition.
Let’s say a student comes to us, he/she used to be able to drive
but it’s been a while since they’ve been around the wheel and they have
forgotten how to drive or they’ve forgotten some of the rules of driving. We
can get them back to the place they were before they forgot how to drive.
They’ll even be better drivers.
The Tri-ism
Three bodies ending with ism, a distinctive practice or
philosophy.
Subjectivism
We treat our students with respect and care. Each student is
different and with that in mind we have to approach the lessons differently.
Professionalism
The skill, good
judgment, and polite behavior that is expected from a person who is trained to
do a job well.
We are a driving
school competing with other driving schools and because of that we have to
possess something other schools might not have, professionalism. We answer the
phone a certain way, we talk to our customers a certain way, we provide a
certain level of service and our instructors are punctual.
Factualism
A theory or
belief relying heavily on fact.
Our instructors
do not present themselves to a lesson without any knowledge of what their
teaching. What we give students are facts, not uncertainty. Our instructors are
instructors for a reason, they qualify to be doing what they’re doing.
